Engine bearings question!?

I just put rod and main bearings in my '93 MTX.

Does anybody know if there is a break in period for engine bearings before i can put the hammer down and beat on it?

Just want to be safe and no throw all that work by the wayside.

Any info or advice is most appreciated!!

I took mine out and did a full pass on it right after I was done... Not saying this is proper, but I've got over 30k on it since...

Co signed! I have done many sets with no problems. One customer even dropped the clutch as soon as the wheels hit the ground.

Those bearings are normally non contact bearings, so no break in required.
