My car started running cold awhile back but then i blew the tranny and it sat for awhile. Now I have the car fixed and my car is still always down by the Cold Tick Mark. I tried changing the Thermostat to see if that would change anything, But it hasnt. I'm really concerned that the engine is running way too cold. It still seems like the engine is running good and strong though. I really dont know what I can do to fix it, and should I be concerned about it running so cold. How much damage can it do?
All Feedback Appreciated
Thanks,
Scott

Is the upper radiator hose getting too hot to hold on to? If so then it is the one wire gage sender that is bad.

Yes you can damage the engine and cats by driving with too cold a motor.

i noticed that if you turn off your climate control, or put it on vent (with no a/c going), that will help your coolant temp rise. the rad fan is on at all times that the a/c is on...
