Emergency brake handle clip?

My emergency brake handle will not stay in the mounting hole. I assume there is a clip that keeps the handle from pulling out of the mounting hole. Where do I purchase this retaining clip?

There is a clip. Look around under the dash, it may still be sitting up inside the dashboard itself.
