electrical problems

Ok my battery light keeps coming on it is probley the altinator(I suck at spelling) but i want to make sure before i go and spend the money on a new one so if any one knows wat it could be please tell me:thankyou:

The 2 only things (common) the can light yout alternator is:

1-Corrosion on the single gray wire (connection) , Wiggle+clean it , the easy fix.
or
2-Bad alternator. Sometimes they charge too high 15+ volts , sometimes they charge too low 13- volts. One piece of advice , dont buy a NAPA.

What gray wire. i think your gray wire is red on my SHO but i dont
