I purchased SHOwn the way's Gen III. I gave the engine compartment a bath and now I'm having some really strange electrical problems. The radio will turn on and off, the seatbelt and low coolant lights will flash, and just tonight the lights in the door switches (windows, door locks) started blinking on and off. When said door lights would turn off, the windows wouldn't roll up or down. I have a crappy Haynes manual. The electrical documentation therein is almost useless. Does anyone have complete electrical documentation for the Gen III? I'd be willing to pay for it!

Ahh, you should have bought SHODWN's gen III instead... The tranny may be shi7'dd but at least the engine is waterproof. heh...

Peace,
Dave

.btw: Good luck on that electrical gremlin. Sounds like you got water in the PCM. Try disconnecting the battery, leave the hood open in direct sunlight and leave everything alone for 24 or so hours. (hairdryer on the PCM or fan maybe?)

Don't touch it for 24-48 hours....like Dave said.

Let it completely dry.

This has happened on occasion before.

Wonder how much Ford wants for electrical documentation or whether they'll even give it up? I'll let it sit for a while, but if that doesn't do it....cut, cut, snip, snip.
