Got any idea what might be wrong with my 1992 SHO.

This morning it ran good. The radio worked. The defroster worked. The antenna motor drove the antenna up normally. The emergency brake light was off when the emergency brake was not engaged. The power windows worked.

This afternoon when I left for home, I noticed that the radio antenna did not go up nor did I hear the motor coming on; the power windows would not operate; the emergency brake light came on while I was driving and the brake was not engaged, the AC blower fan worked but the compressor apparently didn't come on for there was no cool air. I sweated like a stuck pig all the way home today.

The dome lights came on as did the radio dial lighting. The engine ran fine. Brakes worked fine. For some unknown reason, everything worked fine this morning and then during the heat of the day, something failed causing the above symptoms.

Unless you re-wired your 92' with a Gen III wiring scheme, you won't find much help here.

I would start by checking the fuses i thank it would be #8 dut chck them all. Also i would see if it works when it is cooler maybe something with the wiring that opens up when it gets hot.

Darn if I didn't post my Gen 2 woes in a Gen 3 forum.

But the problems went away this evening when it got cooler outside. Today was the hottest day thus far in Savannah. Maybe the lower 90's. Wow.

Yes check all fuses first. Then make sure to check or get your battery and alt checked to make sure you are in good order there. You may also want to check the fluid level in the master cylinder just to be sure that ones not unrelated to the rest off the issues.

still pondering

Checked fuses, etc. The same day the problem appeared it disappeared. Two days later, the car is still working fine. Throughout this mystery, the battery has cranked the engine over with no problem followed by a quick engine start. All power devices still work. So, go figure.
