Problem with 2011 SHO, Wife just came back with Car from her work, she turned off the car as your normally would. When she turned it off, all the lights started to flash very fast, driver’s seat is moving back and forth in a jerking motion, and its giving lots of system errors on the dash now. The Radio is staying on now with the door open. And plus the vehicle won’t start now. I disconnected the battery few times and tried to start the car already and it still doing all the stuff mentioned above. I boosted the car, and she fired right up with no errors on the dash. I stopped the car and I fired her up again. I removed the booster and tried to start the car again, but she didn`t go and started giving errors.
Thinking is the battery, I bought a new battery for it and also pick up a load tester to see how the charging system is working also. On another note, I just got the car back from getting fixed, I smoked a bear with it back in early November. Air bags did blow, and Car was sitting outside for a while, maybe the battery froze that is why I got a new battery or a bad ground they forget to hook up when fixing it
I installed a new battery the car is doing the exact same thing. However the vehicle did start now, and when it is running everything is ok on the dash, charging system is charging at 14 volts. When you turn the car off that is when it does all those weird things again. To me it’s like the car is turning off the motor but the electrical system does not know it`s off or on.
Also as soon as I put the battery in the car and hook it up, the dash lights up, seat moves back and forth and the radio and heaters turn on. And this is with the keys in the house and the door closed. It’s like the car is on and off on the accessory mode
I am going to phone the auto body shop and the ford dealer that reprogrammed the car and tell them what's going on with it. When the car was dropped off, it didn`t do any of that, now i got it back its all messed up. I'm not signing any paper work until its fixed up properly.

Did you check for codes in the PCM? At this time I would not reset them as the incident is still in progress. But its good to know whats what before turning it back in.

The possible suspects are too many at this point, including the BCM and the RCM, wiring, fuses, etc.

Is your SHO named "Christine"?

Have you checked for DTC codes? If no codes I would suspect a wiring problem. I found references to a similar issue in an F150 forum, and it was a broken wire splice in a wire bundle in a door sill. But, that was only a "radio stays on" issue. Yours involves other electrical systems. Good luck hunting it down.

haha kind of funny how you asked if that is what the cars name is. The Wife renamed it that back in November after I hit the bear. I didn`t check for any Codes in the car. The Mechanic at my work said we are just better off leaving it so when they do look at it, they can see what's wrong just incase we delete them.

I did have the car off and on while it was getting fixed, the last time I had it, the car was perfect. I dropped it off so they can finish installing the parts that where on back order. The last part they installed was the steering column, as it collapsed because the air bags went off in the accident. Then the car sat outside for 4 weeks. Or it sat outside for 4 weeks then they installed the steering column I'm not sure. Kind of funny how the steering column and the fuses are in the same area.......Then all issues started the day it was fixed and ready for me to pick up.
