I'm trying to decide which springs to get for my coilover setup. What's the maximum spring rate you can have on 5-way adjustable Konis?

I carry up to 200+ lbs in the back of my car sometimes, so I need some really stout springs back there, but I don't want to wear out my Konis quickly. What's a good spring rate to make the struts last a good amount of time on full hard?

I plan to track the car from time to time, too. I saw a post where Toolman had 700 spring rate in the front and 600 in the back, but he didn't say which springs or struts he was using at the time (that post was from 2011).

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I think you're in the wrong section. :) I thought Eibach was coming out for the 2010+ SHO's.

the forum is whacked out. weird things are happening, posts in the wrong place seems to be the main one.

ah yes. server change would be the reason.

Yeah, I don't know what happened. I tried posting a couple of times yesterday and my post showed up in the wrong place. Sorry about that. Can't even find one of them today. I'll have to try again.

FWIW, They are not Eibach coilovers. They are Ground Control coilover sleeves (Placed over stock strut housings, utilizing koni inserts). Ground Control however sells all of their kits with Eibach springs.
