any suggestions for cleaning an EGR valve while its on the intake manifold?
Or is it a remove only to clean type thing? my ATX is throwing a 327 code.
A 327 code is more likely an unplugged or defective DPFE sensor. Test the harness and the PCM inputs by using the following procedure from the PCED manual:
///quote
DTC 327 indicates that the PFE/DPFE sensor signal is less than the Self Test minimum value of 0.2 volt.
Possible causes:
-- Damaged PFE/DPFE sensor.
-- Open harness circuits.
-- Shorted harness circuits.
-- Damaged PCM.
l Key off.
l Disconnect PFE/DPFE sensor.
l Jumper VREF circuit to PFE/DPFE circuit at PFE/DPFE sensor vehicle harness connector.
l Rerun Key On, Engine Off (KOEO) Self-Test.
NOTE:
If no DTC's are generated, immediately remove jumper and go directly to Step «DL4».
l Is DTC 337 present (ignore all other DTC's)?
Yes
REPLACE PFE/DPFE sensor.
REMOVE jumper.
RERUN «Quick Test».
No
REMOVE jumper.
GO to «DL2».
///endquote
