Edge Insight CTS2

Well.... just got an Edge Insight CTS2 to monitor boost, IAT's, temp etc... Plugged into the obd II port and it will go through the process of setting up the make of vehicle, read 63 of 63 pids then proceeds to shut down. Updated the software via my laptop and same results. Will not display any readings as it shuts down immediately after set up. Disappointing. Looks like I will be returning this one.

Anyone else have any experience with the Edge Insight CTS2? Looking for a way to monitor misc parameters without installing multiple gauges. Would like to keep the interior clean.

Just wanted to follow up. After calling Edge today I got the Insight CTS 2 working. When going through the process of setting it up in the car you cannot select Ford. Go figure... I had to select "other" then it works. Seems to have quite a few pids you can read. I set it up for ambient air temp, manifold air temp, load, boost, coolant temp, short term fuel trims bank 1 & 2, commanded air fuel ratio and spark advance.

Pretty happy with this. Will see how it holds up.

Update... When trying to datalog with it I was getting erroneous readings. Called Edge multiple times and they came to the conclusion it will not datalog with the Taurus Sho and they have no intentions at this point to update the software to support the Taurus. Not enough of a market .

It does seem to work well to monitor misc pids and as a gauge for them but if you plan to use it to datalog beware.
