Will a computer from an 89 mtx work in a 90 mtx. One of my 90's has the egr valve that I want to get rid of and I have an intake and computer from my 89 parts car. Also, do the vulcan motor and the sho share the same A/C compressor?

The '89 EEC will probably work on the '90, but it is always a better fit to use the newer computer version on the older engine. The A/C compressors are very different.

I tend to think not between these particular two years...'89 manual dash controls, external fuel pump relay in CCRM, ABS added in 1990, etc...I think any other '90, '91-'95 would but not the '89.
I agree compressors are not compatible...
go to: a-aironline.com
for your Nippon Denso Compressor for the 1990.

Your 89 'puter will work fine in your '90.

You can put any 89-95 MTX 'puter in any 89-95 MTX car.

I run a 93+ X2J in my 89 and my 92. My 93 has a '90 unit (B9B1 I think).
