Hi I have a 93 atx that I just replaced the old eatc to the hard button style part no. F4dz-19980-a. I've spent hours searcing on google on how to change the display to celcius. Nothing I have found seems to work.
I have tried the max ac and defrost as well as the auto and defrost floor but no change.
Any ideas would be appreciated

There is a wire that comes out of the connectors that you need to either ground or unground to change the display units. I believe it's red. Lemme look it up and I'll post the relevant data for you.

Yeah, it comes off of pin 20 (I don't know which connector, just look for a little red wire that is taped to the harness). If is taped to the harness (ungrounded), it displays F. If it is grounded, it displays C. So find a grounding point (any metal) and attach that wire to it somehow. Shouldn't be too hard, I bet Ford built a method of doing it into the wire.

Did your old one read Celsius??? To me it sounds strange if you changed your EATC and it went from reading Celsius to Fahrenheit.

Thanks for the info on the wiring. I will have a look at that this weekend when I get time.
As for the old eatc it was in fahrenheit as well. I replaced it as the old one had smashed in buttons.
