For those who have moved their EATC to the bottom, how much room is there up there behind the EATC? Is it deeper then the stereo bay? I know the EATC is shorter then a stereo but I was curious how the room is up there. If anyone can let me know it would be great. I have my computer I need to place.

There is about the same size room as the HU area, I was surprised that my moniter fit as well as it did, but i know if it were any bigger it would not have. Here is an old pic, the car is starting to be gutted so i will get pics next week of how deep it really is for you.

My cva-1000 is a bit longer then a standard din size. I do the wireing harness on the back of the tv is like crunched up against som ducting up there. It is a tight fit but it does work and looks awesome when it is done! :thumb:

In those pictures it looks like the EATC sticks out an inch or so. Does it? Does the swap look like it belongs there? I want to put gauges in the EATC slot and I can't stand half-assed shit.

Yes it does if you don't trim the plastic around the unit. I trimed mine and then it come sin farther and you get basicly get it all nice and flush. It looks great when you are done!

yeah I trimmed mine off where it met the unit. I more or less jammed it in the space with a little electrical tape on the sides touching the side of the center. It looks nice, I mght post a pic of it here too.

Yep thats what I did to. Used a little electrical tape to make it a little more tighter and then jammed it in there. And its pretty flush.

i put an iva d310 in mine i had to remove vent behind eatc for the unit to clear or you could space it out and leave the vent i went for the clean look and the eatc fits like a glove in the radio space if trimmed out right like the other guys said
