When I bought my 1990 SHO, I didn't get an EATC with the car. I went down to the junkyard and bought what I thought was a good EATC out of a 1995 Lincoln. I got home, plugged it in, and everything is working correctly EXCEPT the blower motor. I've been on the phone with one of my SHO buddies for about 2 hours while he tried to walk me through the troubleshooting, but I'm not getting anywhere. I ran the self-test, and got the following codes:

043
025
125
115

Not sure where to go from here, I don't want to just pop another EATC in without knowing for sure that's the problem.

To add to this, I'm on the phone with Clay(zblackbeast) and he's checking some stuff... At his blower motor connector(2 wire, one orange/red and one brown/orange) with the blower motor connected, he gets 12 volts at both wires with the EATC off, with the blower on HI , he gets 1.3 volts on the orange/red and 10.7 on the brown/orange, with the blower on LO he gets 8.4 volts on the orange/red and 11.5 volts on the brown/orange, at halfway he gets 6.3 volts on the orange/red and 11.3 volts on the brown/orange. At the same connector on my car, I am getting battery voltage at both connectors no matter where I put my EATC blower motor speed dial. His car is a 1995 with a 1995 hardbutton, mine is a 1990 with a 1995 Lincoln hardbutton.

Any ideas? I'm starting to lean towards the EATC, but I guess I should also look at the blower motor speed controller, I guess?

Also, at the signal wire from the EATC to the blower motor speed control(we think), a tan/orange wire, clay gets varying voltages when he adjusts his EATC fan speed control, whereas I get the same voltage(battery) regardless of where I adjust mine to.

Killed my battery trying to follow wires.. -.- Glad we got it sorted out.

Always good to check all the variables before we go throwin' parts at it..
