EATC head unit cross reference

In my search for a replacement EATC head, I have found that many Ford products used what looks to be the exact same part. However, the number on the back varies slightly. The first set of numbers are different, but the second series is the same, followed by a couple of letters.
I.E.,
Lincoln: F1F5VH-
Sable/Taurus: F5DH-

Both units are followed by the same number: 19c933

Then,
Lincoln: AF
Taurus/Sable: AB

While the head face and all the buttons look exactly the same...
Can these units cross over?
