I installed a complete exhaust system on my '91 yesterday using the eastern y-pipe, the only problem I had was that the hanger arm that connects to the oil pan bracket was welded one inch off, fit was better than expected, all other pieces are stock diameter with stock resenator and thrush turbo mufflers, all except mufflers bought thru rockauto for under 440.00 shipped.:woo-hoo:

The Y-pipe is only $50.00 more than the standard Taurus front Y-pipe. That sounds like a deal to me.
I was skeptical at first about it being able to get good grades on the E-Test, but it passed with flying colours. I thought they might have used less of those exotic heavy metals inside the converter, but the results look good to me.

I have a Shosource equal length Y-Pipe on the 95 and the Eastern Unit on the 90, and I am really happy with both of them.

The odd thing is my 89 still passes the e-test just the way it came from the factory. It is older, has more miles, but still does the job. Go figure.
