easiest way to tighten e-brake?

Yes.

Their is an adjustment right under the front of the rear driverside door. Slide under the car and find where the two E-brake cables meet. They come together at the adjustment mechanism, if you tighten the bolt on the stud it will tighten the cables, if you loosen it, it will put slack into the cables. You don't want them tight enough to be grabbing the rotor, but you want a small tolerance.

well the nut was rusted in place and wasent going anywhere




so i got a split washer, opened it up, put it behind the nut and then closed it with a pair of plyers, works awesomely now

I just replaced both of the rear cables and let's just say that my angle grinder came in handy... several times... :D
