I've got a little question (yes, another one)
Since I bought the car (back in march) I never put the e-brake because the last owner said he never used it too and it's probably jammed. Well I unhooked the cables this weekend and tried to press the pedal.... he was right. I can move the cables back with lots of effort, but it's way too hard for the caliper's spring.

Anyways, my question is... I'm going to replace all 3 cables. Since the mecanism in the back caliper havn't worked in maybe a year or over, is there a chance of the calipers sticking when I'll set the parking brake ? I don't wanna have stuck rear brakes, I won't have money for new ones.

Hes french and so do i...

Alot of ppl around here call the caliper a Galiper , prolly the word deviated with time , most of car parts are called in english here , since the french ones are ridiculous to pronounce.

I have replaced all 3 parking brake cables in my 93 and the original ones were a bear to move, my passenger rear caliper would stick alot! My car is not back on the road yet but I've adjusted the cables and applied the p-brake while the car is on jackstands and there is no more sticking going on. It's hard to narrow it down to the cables since I replaced the calipers and brake lines but the cables were a pain to move compared to the new ones.

The Ebrake mechanically compressed the piston. if you don't have a sticking caliper during normal driving issues, there shouldn't be a reason for it to stick w/ properly operating cables. Remember, the return spring will pull the ebrake cables back when the pedal pops up.

Okay then I'm gonna replace all cables, since the old ones is very hard to move with pliers and my both and under the car. NAPA can sell me all 3 for 110$ taxes in.

I replaced mine a couple weeks ago,
some notes:

Your going to need a torx bit to get the rear brake bias arm off which also pins the passenger side e-brake cable in the control arm.

There is a bolt that holds the passenger side cable to the center box that the control arms connect to. I ended up snaping mind and just used a nut and bolt i found laying around. I had to drill out the whole a little to make it fit

The hardest part is getting the passenger cable (again) out of the braket where both the cables meet under the drivers side rear door. Took me some time and patience with a flat head driver to get all the snap tabs bent in to release the cable from the braket.

The drivers side is easy and pretty straight forward.
