I plan on dynoing in the near future. I never have been on the dyno in an automatic. At what speed do you hit WOT for the dyno? Mind you, I do have Dougs programming... not sure if that would effect any downhift points...
I assume I will have it in 3rd... (Drive/OD off)...

Unfortunately since we have no way to lock the tranny in third like some of us (pre-99.5) can second, you will only get about the last third of your RPM range at WOT in third. The best place to start the run is about 75mph, that is just about when the factory programming is shifting into third.

When I dyno'd my 93 auto SHO the dyno operator (Don Mallinson) just had me get on it from idle. After the car was warmed up properly. You'll then see a stepped graph for each gear.

BTW, my 93 auto put down 177 to the wheels.

With the GEN 3 you want to be above your second gear kick down point. Around 70 or so. Keep the OD locked out.
