Dying starter symptoms?

My car is beginning to take longer and longer to start and it aint even cold out, I go to start and it used to be instant, turn key and it starts. Now I have the key turned on and 2 or 3 seconds later it will start.

generally the starter will not be the problem for that. mainly efficient fuel delivery and spark to start the process are needed.

Check your fuel pressure at the rails. It sounds like a bad pump or a bad fuel pump check valve.

The starter will ether not spin or the bendix will not extend. If the bendix is not extending then it will make a "BZZZZZZZ" noise. Sounds really bad.

Well it has brand new spark plugs and wires, If its the pump, Im basically sqrewed, I dont have the money to fix it.

fuel pump is pretty close to the same privce as a starter... and use the 'service door' entrance to get at the fuel pump!
