That's not even close to the same question and you know that. The platforms are very similar, if not the same in a LOT of respects. Hence, the reason why the search police is posting here to begin with, no? By your logic, posting your daughter's Fusion build is just as relevant as his. It wouldn't be, and you know it. Let's not make irrational comparisons.
Well, good luck.

Yeah, probably for good reason. Gotta keep the lazy fuches in check.

But awww, don't be too upset there, lil buddy. I realize it might've hurt your pride a bit. But I promise....you'll be ok.

You're right????? About what??? Don't make me laugh. If you spent half as much energy on basic search efforts as you do in believing your own bulls4!t, you might've had the answer you needed even before posting the question. How much longer you wanna have this back and forth? Cuz I can keep going, its entirely up to you. Or you can just swallow your pride and just take the lesson. Lol...clown.

Good luck on your pump conversion and install. LMAO.

I'm right on the point of a forum. 100%. My point about information evolving is right. 100%. My pride is intact, kid. I got what I need for the conversion. I'll be fine. Appreciate your efforts.

LMAO....way off base on both counts "kid". And that really wasn't the point being made here, anyway, so...nice deflection. Do your research before begging for help, it isn't a good look. My guess is, since you were constantly b!tchin about the "search police" that this isn't the first time you been called out for bein a lazy fuch. Haha...I'm picking up on a pattern.

Anyway, glad I was here to help you get a handle on that. Also, glad my tips on that conversion helped out. I'm battin 1000 today. You're welcome.

Well friend, you are full of inaccurate assumptions and are therefore the one that's way off base here. "Search police" isn't a new term on forums, by any means. Not even close. Nor did I come up with it. It's an annoyance on MOST forums, as MOST enthusiasts have no issue replying and helping out other fellow enthusiasts. The search police get called out on most forums. You're just annoyed that you've put so much time and effort into documenting your mods/maintenance (you have, and it's good) and feel like everyone should just find your posts and follow it. However, as you've admitted yourself, your way isn't THE only way, and there is zero irrationality in asking the question to gather options and alternative ideas (as successfully played out in this very thread before you got butthurt for whatever irrational reason). This isn't excuse; it isn't deflection. As much as you point the finger and scream like a child that it is. It isn't. It's logical thought and curiosity. We don't all have access to the same tools or experience. It's absolutely irrational to get butthurt at someone looking for feedback/clarification/alternatives on something they have no prior experience with. Again, the POINT of a forum. Forum =/= repository/archive. Repository/archive is a backend benefit of a forum, and also historical. Information/experiences change/update with time. But sure, deflection. LOL. Whatthef*ckever.

Sigh.....you really can't help yourself can you? This is all getting pretty ridiculous and you're kinda starting to look pretty pathetic. Lol...well, since you're "that guy" I'm gonna educate you yet again.

I quoted "Search Police" not to indicate it as a new term but to showcase your idiotic deflection toward name-calling when you were called out on your laziness.

As for the nature of a forum? Lol, this was never part of the discussion but since you want to cling to it, let's entertain this for a bit. A forum IS NOT the place for ACTUAL, real-time "discussion" as you put it. Sure, that might've been case 5-10 years ago, but that arena has now been taken over by social media platforms, such as FB groups, chat groups, Twitter, etc. Thats were discussion truly happens. Its not a mystery that the forum concept as we know it has been dying for years because of this. I can't tell you how many forums are now dead because of the mass exodus to FB groups. Sure there is SOME discussion on forums, but usually from a small, select group of old timers or hard cores. I never disputed that. But to say this is THE place to come is naive and very boomer-ish. Get with the times buddy.

So where does this leave the forum, as a concept? As I said, a great place as a repository of information to search through. You don't see large, mega-posts and photo dumps or in-depth write ups on the social media outlets I mentioned earlier, that is what happens here. I just happen to have a website where I can post these things, but most people, put them on places like forums....so they can be referenced through time.

And to say things change...sure, I agree. But to bring this full circle and back to the point of this thread...the links I provided aren't very old...and there aren't multiple ways to make the conversion (I'm not referring to INSTALLATION into the vehicle), there's only one way to convert this module, LOL.

But back to my entire point....search before begging. It's a very simple concept. You'd have avoided all of this nonsense. But I get it, you're the guy who has to be right, so you change the parameters of the argument in attempts to suite your need. But in this case, you're just coming off as a clown.

Sorry to burst your bubble bud, but had to do it again. So now that's 2 lessons in 2 days. Again, you're welcome. Keep coming back for more if you'd like, I got plenty more to teach.

No tune needed. And it doesn't flow much more than OEM at all. Its just more reliable and smooth. Check out my links below:

@Ecoboost_xsport What modification is needed for the Deatschwerks DW300C? Looks like an advisable proactive swap out for me. I know the pump is accessible from the rear right passenger seat. In your post you say small modifications.

***EDIT*** shoulda looked on your site - I assume this is it: https://www.fortheworkshop.com/?p=3502

That is the post on the cheaper fuel module to buy (if you wanted to buy new).

Here is the post on the actual conversion:

And it all depends on what you consider "easy". I've done these so often I can convert it in about 30 minutes or so. It's really just hogging out the inner diameter a bit (I use a 40mm hole saw...yes, a metric one) and then I actually use the proper terminals to re-pin the OEM connector to use on the DW pump, but some (by some...I mean most, lol) have gotten away with butt connectors. But it isn't too bad, and since you have way easier access than I did, installing the module itself should be a breeze.

Gonna ship a 300 and bucket to your home, will send you money via Zelle... sound good? :)

I do make this conversation for folks, but to be completely honest, I don't do it anymore without a brand new bucket that I've sourced myself. There's too much liability when I use a used one from someone and one time I had someone source their own new module that showed up broken and I ended up eating the cost....because I'm a stand up guy who doesn't like his work questioned. At least if I source it and it ends up broken, I have easier recourse with the shipper and/or vendor.

BTW, I only would go with a brand new bucket - save the old for drop in fix. I was being cheeky, however I am not in a rush as the car is a joy rider. That said, it is all good, no pressure from me. PM me direct if you have the time and desire. Otherwise I am all good and appreciate the offer. ;)

Someone is right... but it is not you. It gets old when people are to lazy to search for something that has been discussed 100x. If there is new information, people generally post it. There is not a group of people sitting at their houses hoping someone will ask for information so they can post their revelation and improvements. Many of us have spent hours doing the research and for someone to want to walk in and have it spoon fed to them is rude and annoying. Take the 5 minutes to search and read.
