i've been meaning to check out those new LED driving lights for my gen III. looks like they'd fit nice in the lower facia without being too incredibly noticeable when they're off.

What do you mean by driving lights you mean like fogs?? Over here we got DRL daytime running lights , its mandatory since 88 or 89. Its like having the headlamps on all the time.

Something like fog lights like the second set of lights on the Gen 1/2. Just need something to brighten up the road a little.

I installed some PIAA lights a few years ago, I put mine in the lower portion of the air dam.

Behind the front fascia in the outer corners. Silvapain did this and it looks freaking AWESOME.

Even wihtout fog lights, the Gen III illuminates the road better than the Gen I/II

Very easy to install. Remove the plastic splash guard from under the front of the car so that you can access the inside of the air dam. I didn't want to use the switch that came with the lights so I removed the driver's side headlight and connected my lights to a parking lamp wire, (I think it was tan, not sure, perhaps someone could verify), as I wanted the foglights to turn on when I turned my lights on.
I have thought about relocating the lights to the upper vane of the air dam and out to the edges. I chose the PIAA's for their size, and the fact that they are oval, I thought they went with the design of the car.

Silvapain's set up does look good. There was a thread on here recently about Gen 3's and slicer wheels that shows his car and you can see the lights.
