I go to change the oil today and the damn drain plug is chewed up bad... So I gently tap a 14mm on it and it bites good. Was hard to break it free, finally broke free. Can I score this at AZ? Or is it a dealer part? I'm figuring the copper washer was done and over the years it just kept getting torqued more and more. On a maybe good note I did notice what looked like black RTV oozed out from around the pan. Maybe she has had the bearings done at one time.... I'm not going to expect it, but you never know. Who the **** designed the placement for the oil filter!? They should be shot. At least my S10 has a neat little funnel/drip rail that runs the oil from the filter over to where you have the pan for the drain plug...

I got one for my 1990 SHO at pep boys. Just a standard drain plug replacement, which of course is quite a rarity for these cars...anything being standard that is.

Great, since the closest PB is 30 mi or so.... That means AZ or Advance should have it. I was curious due to the fine thread... I do miss PB, from when I lived in Baltimore, was elated when AZ moved into the area! At the time AZ had better prices on ALOT of things.
