I got my 7" screen in there with only cutting off the center bar. Looks factory too!

Looks kinda ugly with the 4 exposed screws facing straight out. I think there's a better kit out there.

Let me know if there's a better kit. I spent quite a bit of time looking for a quick kit to put a double DIN unit into our dash.

I just used the DD install kit available from best buy. They sell it for 40 bucks or so, but i got it for 2 bucks from a friend that works there. That was his employee cost.

Would this setup work with the Ford CD6 stereo? Had one in my Ranger few years ago and loved it.
Did you paint your vents black or were they black already? My interior is exactly the same as yours except my vents are cream color and yours looks 10 times better. And the stereo, I bought the same one and i'm wondering if the trim ring you have came with the kit you got at BB or is it the one that came with the deck? Because the one that came with my deck is very flimsy and I hope I dont need it after I find this kit (which is proving very difficult). I'm tired of having this kick-ass deck and it not being in my car simply because I cant find a kit that looks clean like yours does and I refuse to do a half-ass job. Thanks man.

The vents are from a black dash. The previous owner swapped every piece possible except the main dash, so either the dash was bad, or didnt want to mess with it.
The trim ring comes with the install kit.
