hi all,
i did a search and didn't find any recent results. i was cleaning and siliconing my weatherstripping and got a little overzealous and tore the short piece that goes on the bottom of the driver's door. it pulled off of the last 3 push-in tabs and appears dryrotted. where can i get this piece? TIA

I damaged my weather stripping as well. But the weather stripping is still available from the dealerships. No more wind noise and the door fits much tighter.

i just called my local ford dealer and they said the weatherstripping at the bottom of the driver's door (not the inner door sill) is no longer available?

Sorry, I mis-understood what part you were describing. Now that I read the post again, I see that you did state that it is the part on the door itself.

I'll check tomorrow to see whether I can get the bottom door seal.

I can get a salvage yard pull for you.

thanks for the posts guys but my weatherstripping is really not in that bad a shape aside from the fact that it pulled through the push in tabs. i went to wallyworld and got some 3m super black weatherstripping adhesive and if that stuff sticks as well as it does to my finger i'll be happy! it won't come off. i applied it per directions and this stuff is so much better than that yellow junk 3m sold years ago.
if that salvage yard pull is intact with all the push-in tabs let me know how much storm-chaser? i'll keep it for a backup. TIA
