It's possible, it's a royal pain in the ass, yes I am going to eventually get to changing mine when I feel up to it.

I thought I'd read somewhere that it was a pain in the ass which is why I haven't done it yet.

In addition to the door handles being different, the door lock mechanism is different. While you can use the 94-95 lock on a 93 handle (and it looks goofy), you cannot mount the 93 lock mechanism into the 94-95 handle.

I did. I removed the tumbler itself and installed it into the 94/95 housing. Worked perfect. The whole job took about 1 hour. Hardest part is not letting the rivet gun hit the door while snapping them off.

I swapped my handles. I drilled the rivets out of handles in a junkyard. It really wasn't hard at all. Have a friend hold the handle up, or wedge a screwdriver in if you're by yourself. I did a number of years ago, but it wasn't challenging at all.

I also did what St Louis SHO did, and swapped the tumblers. It was pretty self explainitory from what I remember.

BTW, the white used on 94-95 is a different color than 89-92 so you'll have to get the handles painted. Makes it easier anyway, since you don't have to specifically find white handles. Mine were off a baby blue SLO.
