My car thinks there is a door open all the time. I fiddled with all the doors, (opening and closing)but nothing fixed it. My dad fiddled with it again, and was messing with the sunroof switches and the door light went off. I think it was just a coincidence that it went off when he messed with the sunroof switches. It stayed off that day, but started again the next day. I had to take the bulbs out of the over head lights. Anybody have any suggestions where to start?

Quick search would have resolved your issue.

Spray wd-40 in the latches and open and close a few times. It will go away.

Sorry I did search, but didn't see anything. Anyway, I assume you mean to spray WD-40 on the black part in the door jam that goes inside the door as it closes? Thanks for the help. Sorry about the search thing.

the "door open" switch is on the front frame of the door, it's a little black push-button thing. It may need replaced.

No need to be sorry, a lot of newer guys to the forum wind up not knowing of search :thumb:

There is a pocket on the door itself, the sensor is in there. Spray wd in all four doors pockets where the latch is. Open and close the doors a few times and you should be fine.
