Door Ajar light

My door ajar light has been on for several weeks now even thought I have verified that all doors are closed securely. I have oiled and worked the little buttons in the door pillars and that hasn't done anything. Is there a special sensor that I am missing? A couple of times the light has gone off but I can't tell what caused it to go out--or even come on and stay on. Any ideas?

The door ajar switch is located inside the latch, not the same one thats presses against the door. Try a search and you will get tonnes of info. About once a week this issue come up with someone.

replaced 2 switches and then just took the bulb out of mine ....

my friend just disconnected his inside the door so if that doors ajar nothing happens but others work fine
