i really did not like the collector on this y pipe. this is what i'm talking about.

i messured the inner diameter and the ID of the two primary pipes was right at 2" the ID of the Collector was also 2" from a flow standpoint this is a no no.

So i fabbed up an improvement.

Now it's dual 2.25" OD to Single 2.5" od, wich matches the cat back. sound a little diff. too. but i think a big improvement.


No on to removing some more weight...

Id love to hear a sound clip of how it sounds now! The angle of the y pipe has always been a contribution to rasp.

Am i correct in thinking this is Sams old car?

Nice.
I did up a similar collector a few years back when my car was N/A,it helped chill some rasp and it picked up some power.
