It is almost impossible to find a cooler and faster car for the $$. I got my 89 for $500. Sure it needed work but it was worth it. Now i have a car that is fun to drive, reliable, and i have learned how to work on cars. It saves a lot of money, and hearing the secondaries open up is worth a few snapped and drilled bolts. thumbs_u

I've had my '89 since December,1988. Figure out how long that is.I have found it to be a reliable and not overly expensive car to keep up.
The key I believe is maintenance...maintenance...maintenance. I have always changed the oil and filter every 3K, did the 60K when needed and did not abuse the car when driving it. My car was recalled in 1990 or '91 for a new clutch (looks like the original was not that good) and I still have that clutch although I'll need one soon.

For all these years the SHO has given me a lot of smiles and enjoyment and believe it or not has made it difficult for me to buy a new car. Every car I test just does not quite measure up!
