Hi everybody. Yesterday I went to change the ATX fluid in my SHO and on the tranny pan it had a rd sticker that said DO NOT SERVICE. Is this something I should be worried about or is it just a way for FOrd to make some money? Thanks

Might just be an old sticker from a car lot to let the mechanics know what work needed done? I haven't seen anything like that before.

Does it say do not service until you have read the service manual or have a TSB number?

I'm not really sure. I will try and check. I just remember it had do not service on it and it said ford and then it had a bunch of numbers and letters. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't ganna hurt it if I changed the tranny fluid.

I would suggest that you go ahead and service the tranny fluid. You will be looking at a shoot if you don't service it correctly. Just ask adam varney.. :D

Yeah go ahead a service definently but some have a TSB to advise of a new filter and mounting yours probably has it done already anyhow
