Why are you trying to remove the throttle spring assembly from the TB? All you need to do is remove one 10mm ogive bolt at the little metal bracket that holds both the cruise control and throttle lines, then while you rotate the spring assembly a little with your hands (as if stepping on the throttle, but not pulling on the cable), route the cable out of the spring. The cable has a little barrel at the end of it, and that slides into a slot in the spring. It should come out sideways. If you rotate the spring, the cable will splay out and it'll be pretty obvious how to remove it.

i've never removed the throttle body when taking off an intake. there's enough play in the cables for it to sit comfortably out of the way on the driver's side strut tower. stop overcomplicating things.
