You gave very little information in terms of symptoms. If the DIS pak was “bad” then car won’t start. You won’t have any spark; the whole ignition goes through the DIS Pak. I have only had one that was “intermitting” and it turned out to be corroded connections / wires going to the DIS pak. You probably know that the DIS pak has to be grounded via its bottom plate, the plate that is making contact to the intake. Without a good solid ground from that plate to ground the DIS pak will not function. This forum has wiring diagrams for the DIS pak. These cars along with nearly all Fords from 90 up to 02 are notorious for the grounds corroding and causing all kinds of problems. I would recommend that you check the ground strap passengers’ side rear intake to ensure that it’s making a good solid ground. Measure from the plate of the DIS pak to neg battery as well. There should be near zero ohms. If you still think the DIS pak is bad just try another one. Make sure you have 12 volts were it is supposed to be as well.
Good Luck
