difference between muffler designs

I have read several threads about how to eliminate rasp and which mufflers give good sound. I noticed that the mufflers mentioned were always the turbo style mufflers. Has anyone tried a 2 chamber muffler or any other style muffler? How would a 2 chamber muffler affect sound and performance?

Chambered muffs on the V6 sound raspy and bad.

Wonder what these would sound like, expensive but nice. Sorta like the Magnaflo turbo XL **** but with an extra tube.

The resonator has a large affect on the raspiness. Usually glasspacks have less rasp for the SHO.

no matter what you do you're pretty much hosed once 4k RPMs hits where rasp is concerned.

I managed to get rid of the rasp on my 2.5" exhaust by installing two Magnaflow bullet style mufflers in line then splits to two Magnaflow mufflers. Low tone and rumble, but no rasp. You will have some "drone" on the freeway.
