Difference between engines

What if any are the differences between 91 engine and mtx tranny and a 94 engine and mtx tranny? and differnet prats on it or in it? different sized parts?

For the most part, they are the same. The 94 will have thicker cylinder walls, different intake manifold casting, different alternator and bracket, and a different wiring harness. The transmissions will be essentially the same; the only possible difference I can think of is synchro material.

Didn't the later V-6's have an EGR connection on the runner system or was it California cars only?

For the 'in it' as you asked , here's a couple diff notes you might need to know.

Diff front/rear knuckles and diff brakes.
Diff ECM but it's swappable.
Cable shifter vs rod shifter.
Mufflers are also a tad different.
