Have him do the drilling for extra ****. This is what we do on the Grand Prix transmissions which have similar differential issues and are running 500+ FT/LBs in many cases.

First, those don't work, those are the cobra replicas at 17x9. The wheels on Doug's wife's car are SVT T-bird rims @ 17x7 and 42mm offset. The 17x9's look stupid on the sho and involve spacers. 2nd, FPS advertises in the diesel mag I read and I always laugh because I know my truck can spank Doug's 6 ways to sunday. :) He used to be on this forum a lot but people got sick of people posting problems and Doug answering, buy my product and you'll be all set.

Hater.

Doug Lewis knows his shit. I'd take his advice.

Doug Lewis of FPS fame charged me for clutch job when the whole problem I had was a missing bushing on the clutch cable which he pointed out to me during the clutch install. He could've just went out to one of the parts cars he had outside and gotten one but didn't even do that. And at the end of it all, the problem was still there even when he put the new clutch in. You know he test drives them after the job but it was late in the day and he didn't care. After I sourced a bushing for the cable, the problem went away (which was the pedal shuddering and vibrating in reverse) and the clutch that was replaced was good and went back in.

So he knows his shit, literally. And at the end of the day, he's still there to make money no matter what the real issue is. And for that, I will never, ever spend a dime at his business ever again.

I forgot to include "From what I've heard, ..." in that post.

Did you go to him for a clutch swap, or to have him diagnose your issue?

So Doug pointed out the missing bushing during your clutch swap, had replacement bushings to use and yet you didnt have him install one on your car? And its somehow his fault?

I once called him about some parts he had, I told him I would send a money order priority mail in the morning, and I did, Instead of waiting a day or two to see if it showed up he sold the parts to some one else. The worse part is he did not call me back to fill me in what was gong on , after waiting two weeks of no parts showing up I called him and he told me he sold them and had more on order. So it was over a month for parts I needed ( and paid for).

He will never be getting any of my money again, considering I have put $20,000 in to a SHO project over the last couple years he has lost out.

+1 on the above post. I needed a used throttle cable, he quoted some astronomical price. I laughed at him and hung up the telephone.
