After all that money it's still an open diff on a FWD car. I'd say save your money for a wavetrack...there's a quaife with install kit on the "for sale" board now...

Probably around $1500-1700 (I'm not sure how much a quaife install would cost you), so its significantly out of your budget.

I know you've been told this before, but I wouldn't spend the money on a flywheel.

And, lots of people just weld their diffs and are fine. More lubrication helps, but the welding is the key part.

40 miles north of atlanta. jasper ga. why whats up?

Well, I'm only 40 miles from the Ga border. So if you had been further South, I was going to offer some help working on your SHO. :salute:

Also, I might be interested in those Sensatracs you have. Have to see if I can get the money.

Doug Lewis knows his shit. I'd take his advice.

And when you buy from him, he's more than willing to help you out. I called him on the serpentine belt length for his UDPs, he spent 30 minutes with me looking up the size. Very cool guy.

NO!!! you can't help him out Tony...Then you're not going to have any time to work on my SHO :laugh_ti:

To the OP. Seriously, if you were closer, I'm sure Tony would help you out. God knows he's helped me out a ton. I think he's donated more blood via busted knuckles working on my SHO than I have.
