Diff between MTX and ATX IAB

Does anyone know what's the REAL diff between them?

I'm running a 3.2 mtx with the ATX IAB , and i'm suspecting my idle prob comes from that.....

I ran a 3.0 IAB for a while after mine failed. No real difference except for shape.

The MTX is cleanable, the ATX is not. The ATX unit is vented, the MTX unit is not.

I run the ATX on my blower car. I can get better control over the idle with a new ATX unit, compared to used MTX units, not sure if that's a function of the IAB or the fact that it's new
