Did I fix my '93 ATX O/D???

:thankyou:I did the C-clip repair for my '93 SHO ATX. I must say it was harder than I thought. Anyway, I took it for a drive today and noticed that at 70 mph the rpm's were around 2500. I was wondering if the overdrive is engaged or not. I tried to listen/ feel the transmission shifting but had a hard time doing so. Also, I don't remember what rpm the engine was at prior to the fix at 70mph. Thanks in advance.

If you are doing 70mph and your RPM is only at 2500 I would say your OD is working.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure. My gas mileage was terrible prior to the fix. I filled up my tank today. I will check how many miles I'll get on a tank.
