DIAGNOSIS?

This is on a 92 I am buying. Syptoms are stumble at idle and running rough off idle, but runs fine once moving up till high RPM at which point seems to lose power. Factors are new rebuilt engine about 10k ago (ran fine this is a recent problem)so everthing is clean, valves adjusted etc. Fuel system cleaned, injectors and filter etc. MAF sensor is clean,O2 sensors are new. Took it to autozone and pulled the codes, only came up with bad MAP sensor which was replaced, this helped some. Car ran fine and got good gas mileage from SLC Utah to Phoenix Az recently, it's just at or just off idle. It hasn't stalled at all. My dad (it's my brothers car) says from the tailpipe emmissions it looks like a caburated car with a soaked float thats getting too much fuel, so mabye a sensor that is telling the car it's colder than it is? We couild only find the one code at Autozone. Just wondering what to check next.

Sounds like a vacuum leak.

check the IAB valve to see if its clean and check the connections at the crossover tube for the dis, and the bolts in the tube as well. i had a similar problem and it was my DIS connections (my bolts were not in the crossover tube )
