Detroit Auto Show

Just curious if anyone else is going this year. Chuck and I will be there on the 23rd from early morning through the afternoon. We always hit up the same diner across the street from Cobo for lunch. I know that most people can't make it throughout the week but weekends are waaaaay too busy at that place.

I plan on going sometime during the week also. Possibly the 23rd also but from late afternoon until they close.

I went up last year which was the first time I had been up in a couple years. Not sure if I'll make it up this year or not. I might try to make it an every other year thing. That way it give me a long time to read and dream about all the brochures I collect. I was up there Saturday morning last year and it really wasn't too bad. Still crowded though.

Us TCCA guys are going on the 19th to the show, then going to the monster truck rally later that night at ford field. should be hella fun

The show was a bit of a let down this year, IMO. Not enough concept cars to keep it interesting. I will say that the new F-150 is bad ass. As is the glass roof option on the Mustang GT, although I still think they should bring back the t-tops.


Oh well, at least we enjoyed our annual meal at the Six Pack.
