dash lights, dimmer switch????

My JBL amp blew so I rewired it so I had a radio. Then about the same time my dash lights and auto on head lights switch stopped working, why? Is it because i rewired it?

"About the same time" Or immediatly after? If it happened immeaditaly after then you just answered your own question.

If not then start by checking the fuses. Does anything else not work? ALOT of things on our cars run on 1 fuse....or should i say 1 fuse can control 4-5 different things.

If that dosn't work for you, i would try getting another dimmer/ auto light switch from a J.Y. ($10) I beileve you can use the one out of a Sable, if there are no SHO's around, and for sure the one out of an LX.

that was the next thing I was going to try was gettn that switch. I had to rig it up to have dash lights for now but i want to get it right. Im kinda a perfectionist per say...
