dash help!!!

ok so i am tearing the dash out and i start taking screws out and the next thing i know the WHOLE dash is coming out wiring harness and all....I cant seem to figure out how to seperate the dash from the frame?? surely I dont have to dissconnect the all the wiring and everything right???

the dash will come out with the wiring, unless you pull all the wiring out first, which is quite challenging but possible.

what exactly are you trying to accomplish?

Yes, the dash, frame and wiring come out and are put back as an assembly.





All the electrical connections are down by the parking brake pedal except for:

- The power antenna (if equipped) which is on the passenger side.
- The HVAC which is on the firewall behind the glove box.

Each operation (remove, install) Should take 3-4 hours.

Don't mean to hijack thread but looking at it from this angle it doesn't look all that difficult to remove that dashboard. I have a heatercore on mine that just went the other day and need to get this done asap, is removal and install as "simple" as it looks?

It isn't that "difficult". But it however is A. Lot. Of. Work. It will take you a solid weekend to pull your dash and do your business. It is a ton of random screws/bolts and connectors that are all in odd and awkward positions.
