Remove the motor and you can move it up. Autozone.com and Napa have them for about 60bucks. Easily replaced with the removal of the door panel.

Just be VERY careful. Once you remove the motor, you can manually move the window up and down, but the window will also want to drop like a rock. The motor holds the glass up....you'll need a piece of 2x4 or something to hold that window up until you replace the motor.

I have the same problems. all you might have to do is take the motor off then hit the swith to see if the motor turns then put it back on. the motor can be taken apart and fixed too but its not easy at all.

It is not unusual for the switch contacts to become fouled by the arc when the contacts are opened. The switches are quite easy to disassemble and clean and can be done without removing the entire door panel.

Had you tried to move the window from the local switch on the rear door? If that one works okay, the conatcts on the driver's door probably just need to be cleaned.

Should you just clean them with electrical contact cleaner? My right rear window won't go up from the main control but will from its individual one.

Like Scott said you need to clean the contacts on the driver's side master control.
Only requires one of each type of screw driver, electrical spray cleaner & less than an hours time. Did mine this week-end. Just unscerw & pop the control panel from the door panel. Then keep pulling apart until you see the copper contacts in the white plastic housing, spray clean & reassemble. I believe it's been posted here before. Try a search for more detail.
