Custom trunk lid........

well i did this the other day and its not done 100 % but i dont think its ever been done on a sho b4. this goes on the upper part of the trunk lid. I started off with a piece of metal and pleksiglass, and black carpet. I made the pleksiglass and metal into a box like figure and cut out of the carpet SHO, now i wanted this to stand out more so i bought a large green neon tube. placed it underthe letters so they will glow. Its looked nice but the metal backing did not reflect that well so i hit it with some sand paper to give it a bright scratchy shine. Here are a few pics in the making, i did not hang it yet but you get the point..........my next custom projects are to make LED tailights that say SHO for running lights, and i making a custom back for my car where the speakers are. What do u think so far.......

I did he flip flop trunk on my 98' Z24 cavalier i had (RIP). All i needed was 2 hinges and some 1/8" diameter spacers tubing to drop the trunkmount brackets down about 1 1/4". It wasnt too hard although it didnt seal very well towards the front of the trunk, im sure it could be improved tho also. I want to see pics!

i see a X also! But i plan on useing the 94-95 mustang Gt wing! There is a forum member that used it and it looks awesome! Please fix the pics i would love to see what you are talking about!

First two are red x's for me, but the third one works.

For the record guys, he is talking about the underside of the trunklid when you open it up.

If the trunk mod he did was the same as the one that i did on my Z24 that i had, all it does is flips the trunk the other way...when trunk lid is completely open, you can see the tail lights facing the back...hard to explain i guess. Hopefully he will post some pics soon.

I did that flip trunk trick to my old 1996 dodge avenger. It had a wing, exhaust, 2 transmissions replaced, strobes, 4 crap clutches that killed the tranny, a painted interior, etc., etc..... Finaly killed the tranny for the last time, traded on a new s-10. Sorry, i was rambling on and on and on and on........

Yes sir! gosh that looks so good man. a few queestions.. does it mount in the stock holes? Or did u go out and get a 92 trunk with out any holes drilled?

Thanks! Mine did not come with spoiler. Had to drill the holes.
