Looks good. I have been wanting to have a box made of fiberglass to fit in the rear corner of the trunk, right behind the wheel well.

Can't really tell how well everything fits from those photos. Definitely went with the low-budget components, though. Wonder what that Crunch amp really puts down at 14.4V... 'cause I don't buy that 1000W RMS rating. How's it sound?

due to lack of a good camera :banghd: the pics arn't to good

but for the money i paid for it the setup is awsome for under $300
for the amp and subs, i used some carpet padding cut down some of the rattle in the 1/4 pannels. ya but after i EQ'd everything on the amp it self it sounds great, and i renderd the rear veiw mirror useless:rockon:

it looks like a nice install.

actually, the amp says 1000watts MAX not rms, and the model number being 250.2, im gonna assume they'll try claiming 500watts

I used to be an installer and have been doin custom stereos for a while now fiberglass and all that. If im not mistakin that amp looks like a 2 channel 1000 watt. What that means is its putting 500 watts to each speaker. If you want to get a little more sound out of it do this very simple thing. On the amp itself switch the positive wires and leave the gound wires where they are. Itll be bridged then and 1000 watts will be goin to both speakers. There might be a button on the amp too that says "bridge" press it when your done.

250.2 tho....hmm. Do what i explained, you will be surprised

Max and RMS are too hugely different things. Max cannot be trusted. Espeically in lower budget amps. Too much depends on current draw and efficiency. In addition, the resistence plays a key role in output. By halfing the resistence, you are effectively doubling the output, but it starts from a baseline. Look carefully at the specs. Its best to match RMS to RMS for the amp and sub application. Nice amps can have an RMS as high as half of the Max. Cheap ones as low as 1/4.

I got the RMS rating from some websites where those amps are sold. That is why I was skeptical.
