To go along with my 11.6" front brakes which will be installed this friday I also had some braided steel hoses made. At this hard to find shop.. original 11.6 brake thread

Anyone in the socal area that needs hoses of any kind.. these guys can custom make any hose.

handed them a stock '94-95 line, and '94-06 caliper so they could make the lines.

$60 for 2 custom lines or $90 for a set (4) from Summit or Jegs.

i believe Jegs is now offering 2 day shipping now.

Last I knew, Earl's were only available as a set of four. 90 for a set of four, or 60 for a set of two. Hm.

I'd say I could get some for whoever wants them, but they'd end up at $80 or $85 with shipping so it probably isn't worth it.

it wasnt my intention to knock you down. i can fully understand where youre coming from. you needed/wanted them but didnt have time to wait. sometimes, it costs a little extra to get stuff sooner and/or locally.

sunny San Juan Bautista,
Can get bulk braided line and connectors and (carefully) make your own. I was going to do this a few years back but never got around to it. The advantages: You end up with enough extra line to replace your line every so often, reusing the same connectors. Total cost for materials was less too IIRC.

Those lines are pretty. That shop did a nice job putting them together neatly. :thumb:

Nope. We're working on custom lines for the Gen III.

Anyone interested at $100? Choice of colors are clear (silver braid), red, blue or black.

Sure. Will there be enough extra slack in the fronts to accomodate PBR calipers?

just out of curiosity, why are they not compatible? are the calipers for a Gen3 SHO different than Gen2?

Calipers are the same from '94-06 must be the fitting where the hose attaches to the hard line.
