they told me at the shop that not all plastic can take all that beating that headlights usually take. Also, they told me that our headlight lenses had plastic injected into a form. This process cost a lot, Unless every person on this forum would want a set of lenses like that.

im looking in to doing this... for cereal.
ill be doing it no matter what....
so ill be going through lots of headlights and materials.
ill let you know whats easiest

to bad no one can get a hold of the machine i seen on mythbusters.... its the machine that takes a plastic sheet and molds it over what ever you want.... they use them for making the ballistic jell body molds......

would love to see any ideas you got man i called like 5 or 6 headlight companies in the past all said it would cost $15000 for the headlight molds i was like wow....

Has any one run HID's in the stock housing? im aware your not supposed to, and it doesnt work the best. But my brother bought a set from DDM tunning, they sell a ton of BMW after market parts, and they seam to be pretty freaking bright. and was wondering if anyone has run these in SHO headlight housings?
