Crazy Ideas...

OK, it seems I always come up w/ crazy ideas, but here goes...
I want to take my wife's 01 Taurus, and convert to RWD w/ a 4.6 2V modular. Nothin' crazy, factory 'vic 2.90 rear, eng gets cold air and dual exhaust, no eng mods except above and internals. Maybe 3angle valve job, port and polish intakes. End goal is hopefully 1hp/1ci on 87oct. Anyone as crazy as I am? Has this been done successfully, and if so, what all needed to b done? Just think, what a sleeper! Factory Taurus appearance, modular v8 grunt. N E 1 know how? HELP!!!!

Ever since I saw what Jay Leno did to that Toronado, I have thought it would be cool to make a rear wheel drive SHO.

with the right combination of insanity and money, anything's possible. however, the amount of fab work and wiring might be too much for one person to take on themselves, even with an unlimited supply of alcohol. one has to wonder, though...any particular reason for that drivetrain?
