ok people, throw up your most outlandish, extravagant, or interesting ideas for cosmetic, etc mods.
ground rules- must be something someone could feasibly accomplish (although money is not an option), NO bashing of others ideas, if you think its rice/tacky/whatever, shhh. bonus points for people who can sketch/photoshop thier ideas.

heres mine- i'd strip the entire interior, change the front seats to race inspired, and the rear to a custom made 3 person race inspired bench seat, keep the dash and center console shape, but smooth everything out, and have custom fiberglassed 14.1 inch touchscreen monitor in the middle with a hidden in dash computer, it would control everything from the heat/AC to the audio/visual system, tweecer, and a navi system. there would be a motorized stealth cover for all of this of course. i'd turn the center console cupholder area into a 2 side by side, driver/passenger area and have the armrest ergonomically designed to fit my driving lean. the guages would be reverse glow, and the steering wheel something along the lines of the new Cobra wheel, but of course it would say SHO not cobra. exterior i'd keep my car about hwere its at, just switch over to yamaha badges, refresh the paint, and get the thunderbird SVT rims back on there.

I plan on dooing a choptop, probably right about two inches, as well as a 12 in indash touchscreen computer system, I have a completly redesigned dash that im working on concepts of and fitment as well as a front to back floor console with a flip up tv for the rear, oh and bucket seats in the rear, ive even played with the possiblilty of a '03 lincoln ls front clip sheet metal and modified dash..... Ill see if i can scan some of my sketches pics later this week...

I have tons of ideas. Mostly paint schemes. but the fact that its a 4-door AND a sports car throws me way off.

I just cant see crazy custom fiberglass work in a SHO.

Thats just me. I love the stock body kit and interior way too much already the way it is.

But I kinda like that idea about smoothing out the dash.

Shave trunk keyhole, door handles and locks, antenna. Remove the rear seat and make it look nice. Not just like the back seat is taken out and called it good. I want it to look finished. Itd be hard to explain what it would look like but it wouldnt' look tacky. Youd be able to see the subs from the front in a glass box.

shaved trunk, shaved door handles, keyholes etc. as for the body kit, love the stocker but would like to duplicate it with the same curves but drop it down a little and fill it out.

Im down with the idea of shaving the door handles, evrerything on the exterior. As for the rear seat....i say you get some matching front buckets, throw them in the rear and get the center/middle console and but it in between the two REAR buckets. Sand down the center consoles and paint them to a matching color. If anyone wants a pic, i got some pics of this exact thing done to a four door GTP.

very interesting... i like the idea, not the center console so much (i'd like still having a "bench" idea even though theres only 2 seats... my only other thought is, these buckets are probably significantly taller than a stock rear seat, how much sheet metal modification would be needed to do something like that d'ya think?

edit- my FTP program is acting up, i'll try to get the pics up tomorrow

Well i dont know how it would be possible, the way our cars are designed is kinda *** if you ask me....the gas tank creates a nice **** where we could, in this case put our sweet, bolstered buckets in the rear with no problems if it was a flat surface.....the only thing that come to mind is- create a small bracket, something that you could fab up by yourself out of good sheet metal, just get the bolts for our seats right so they bolt up and then have the seats as low as possible, to have as much head room as possible, therefore the brackets must be very flat/small. I dont have any proven ideas as i do not know how tall the seats are from the bottom to the top of the headrest (find that out if you can) so i dont wanna be flamed any one

Cheers,
